CraftZonePrivacy Policy
CraftZone: Minecraft Addons is built to work without knowing who you are. There is no account, and the app never asks for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location.

This policy explains what the CraftZone iOS app (the “App”, bundle ID com.addonhub.mcpe) collects, why, and what choices you have. It also covers this website. By using the App you confirm that you have read this policy.
What we collect and why, in short

None of it identifies you personally, none of it is sold, and the usage analytics can be switched off in the app — see Analytics and your choice below.
1. The detail
Anonymous install ID
The first time you open the App it generates a random identifier (a UUID) and stores it on your device. It is not linked to you, your Apple Account or any other app. You can see it in Settings → Account in the App, and you will need it if you ask us to delete your data.
What our own servers receive
Requests for the catalogue, categories and search results carry no identifier at all. Recording a download and checking your subscription send the anonymous install ID, because that is what the download allowance is counted against. As with any web service, your IP address is visible to our servers and CDN in transit and appears in short-lived request logs.
Usage analytics
The App sends anonymous events to Mixpanel, our analytics provider: app opened, screen viewed, item opened, download started or completed, imported to Minecraft, search performed, paywall shown, purchase or restore completed, and similar. Each event carries the install ID, the device and app details listed above, and an approximate location derived from the IP address by Mixpanel. Events never contain your name, email address or any content you create.
Crash reports
We do not run a crash-reporting SDK. If you have turned on Share With App Developers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple passes us anonymised crash logs. They contain no personal content and we use them only to fix bugs.
Purchases
Whether a CraftZone Pro subscription is active, which plan, and when it renews. Payment and card details are handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store them.
2. What stays on your device
Your favourites, recent searches, downloaded packs and cached images are stored on your device only and are never uploaded. Deleting the App deletes all of them.
3. What we do not do
- We do not ask for or store your name, email address, phone number or GPS location.
- We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and the App shows no third-party ads.
- We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not run profiling or automated decision-making.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
4. Analytics and your choice
Usage analytics are on by default. You can turn them off at any time in the App under Settings → Privacy → Share Usage Data. Switching it off stops all event collection immediately and discards anything still waiting to be sent; the App keeps working exactly as before. Push notifications are separate and only ever happen if you allow them — you can withdraw that in iOS Settings → Notifications.
5. How we use what we collect
To deliver the catalogue and downloads, to recognise Pro status and restore purchases, to diagnose crashes, to prevent abuse of the download endpoints, and to measure aggregate usage so the App can be improved. Under the GDPR our legal bases are performance of a contract (delivering the App and your subscription) and our legitimate interest in a working, non-abused product; analytics and push notifications rest on your consent, which you can withdraw with the controls above.
6. Who processes data for us
These providers process limited data on our behalf, each under its own privacy terms:
- Apple — App distribution and payments.
- RevenueCat — Subscription status and receipt validation.
- OneSignal — Push notifications.
- Mixpanel — Anonymous product analytics.
- Cloudflare — Content delivery and abuse prevention.
7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the App’s audience skews young, we deliberately collect no personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will delete it.
8. How long we keep it
Usage and diagnostic data are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted or aggregated so that they can no longer be linked to an install. Subscription records are kept for as long as the subscription is active, plus the period Apple and applicable tax law require.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we hold no identifying information, the only way we can find your records is by the anonymous install ID — include it in your request. See Data deletion for the exact steps. Residents of California may exercise the equivalent CCPA/CPRA rights; note that we do not sell or share personal information.
10. International transfers
Our providers operate servers in the United States and the European Union, so data may be processed outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
11. Security
Traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but the less we hold, the less there is to lose — which is why the App collects so little.
12. Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above, and material changes will be announced in the App.
